...usually I don't calm down... I yell and throw things and stomp my feet and get really worked up...then its all over and I'm fine. But if I HAVE to calm down, I take a deep breath and FORCE myself to keep my mouth shut...I leave the room or the house, depending on the severity of the situation...and it just really takes TIME for me. but really not very long.

It depends where I am and what I am upset about. If I am at home I will just go hide for a few hours with my blanket that my mum gave me when I was 2. ( My mum isn't alive anymore and it is the only thing that I have from her. And yes, I know it is stupid but it helps me out alot when I am upset.) If I am at work then I just try not to think about it but then again the kids at work will help your forget about whatever it is with them always bugging you to play with them.

Figure out the kind of person you are:
If you are an active kind of person.. .go to the gym and sweat it out or at least get a punching bag
If you're more of a sedentary person... count to ten, breathe through it and talk yourself through whatever is needling you. Then talk to your friends to help you see pastthe problem.
