Many Africans are simply uneducated because not a lot of people are willing to educate them about AIDS.
The rest of your question is irrelevant

I've never been so how would I move back? Well, I would always like to go there and help. I'm doing a research paper on Sudan and a big reason why a lot of Africans have AIDs is because the Arabs are using rape as a war weapon and nearly 80% of the Arab militants have AIDs or HIV. So they are using it as an ethic cleansing tool to get rid of the black Africans. I won't say that some of the people are not getting AIDs from voluntary sex, but I don't think a lot of them know they have it. The hospitals are not exactly like they are in the U.S. and I doubt that many of the people would walk miles to get tested for AIDs, which I have no doubt a lot of them are uneducated about. For those who truly know they have AIDs, maybe they have one of those "I'm gonna die anyways, so why not" attitudes. Either way, I would want to go and help out the abused but I don't think I would ever move there.

hmm... I noticed that most of the answers to the "African " question seems to be coming fron Non-African (who hav obviously been grossly misinformed by the media)

First of all, Hiv infections are high in Southern Africa. Not Northern Africa ( which is lower than the rate in most developed countries) or some Western African countries.

And NEWS FLASH!!! the rate of infection in North America as increased... to extent of some so called "uneducated poor countries"

PLUS! look up this incident in Libya, where 6 German doctors were intentionally infecting women and Children! oh! these are the ones who got caught! consider those who didn't!

Secondly, You're a Stupid Ignoramus! Why would African Americans work here! (slave labor) .. build up America!
( America would have never been able to achieve its greatness without slave labor) then 100's of years later... go to settle in a foreign land where they know nothing about?

Thirdly, Why dont you go back to Europe? This land belongs to the Native Americans NOT TRASH like YOU!!!

enjoy :)

The answer to your question is simple: the people there are uneducated. They really don't know as much about HIV/AIDS as we do, even though it is more rampant in their communities. In fact, it is so rampant that the people there don't view it the same way that we do. Americans are terrified that they might contract it, while the African citizens see it as a part of everyday life, almost as if it is inevitable.

By the way, I (sarcastically) love how you took an important world health issue and turned it into an excuse to make stupid racist comments. Good for you.

i'm no longer particular if i visit apply this to refute persons's solutions even with the undeniable fact that the guy that reported there's a good type of inbreeding there might want to in no way answer a question if she is acquainted with no longer something on the challenge. i'm somewhat indignant by her lack of information. there isn't any longer a good type of inbreeding in Africa, probable decrease than the inbreeding contained in the South. HIV and AIDS in Africa is spread by lack of training on the ailments, lack of monetary help on to human beings that choose it and in no way the governments ( who're somewhat corrupt) and in no way speaking brazenly about taboo matters alongside with sex, homosexuals, and condoms. because you're asking this question, that's good, you need to change into in contact contained in the attempt to foyer the governments of advanced countries to deliver supplies to the determined hospitals in sub-Saharan Africa, help a baby stricken by the pandemic, or deliver letters to our authorities to stress African leaders to change into extra open-minded about efforts for prevention, no longer clinical care.

Though the end of your question is bull...... it's because its a cultural thing. I do wonder though why so many african americans keep pointing to Africa as their place but you never hear of any going back to just help a bit if at all.

Um, I'll ignore the racist comments for now.

Many young girls in Africa have sex forced upon them, infections or not. Transmission is not always a matter of "Oops, forgot the condom."
