Nope, me and my bf have a rule that if we've dated a guy, the other one won't come in for the leftovers. We have even added a rule that if we both like a guy, neither of us will talk to him. It isn't hard to follow, ther are plenty of fish in the sea, and our relationship means way to us than one of many men we'll have in our lives...

There is nothing wrong with two people dating each other.
If someone has a problem with that, it is that someone's problem in his own head. Perhaps that person needs to let go of the ended relationship instead of clinging to some invisible strings of control over the ex.

HELL NO!!! I'm sorry but for anyone to say that's okay obviously likes to spread the love a little to much! Your best friend shouldn't even consider asking you, it's just a big no no. You know how you truly feel about this situation, please go with that instinct. I just feel it's wrong and indecent. Why did you break up? Do you think they have already pursued something behind your back? this is a tough one!

It may happen but it is not alright. Your best friend must have known all the reasons why you broke up hence not right and proper to date this person.

unless ther is something really wrong with the guy and you want to protect your best friend, it should not be a real problem. after all, your best friend is someone whom you should care about, and if that is what makes your best friend happy then why would you want to stop her.

As long as your over your ex & they are both upfront about it, could be a great relationship. I'd have zero problem.

I think if you are all on good terms then it could probably work. But everyone needs to be open and honest with each other.

It doesn't really matter if it's *right* or *wrong*.
If it's openly and maturely discussed and everyone is comfortable with it then I don't see the problem.

No it's not. If they're really your best friend, then they should respect you more than that.
