Do you have adobe acrobat installed on your computer? If not, you'll need to go to www.adobe.com and get the free version before you can view .pdf files.

1. Sometimes Adobe takes a long time to open up in a web browser. It depends on how good your computer is and which version of Adobe you are running.

2. If you don't have Adobe installed, go to the Adobe Acrobat website and install it.

3. If you do have it installed, run updates on it. If that doesn't work, you can try to uninstall it completely, and reinstall from the Adobe website.

4. If that fails, you could try a different web browser. For instance, if you are running Internet Explorer, you could try running Firefox (www.getfirefox.com). It sounds simple enough, but sometimes it works.

5. You could try to save it instead of directly opening it within the browser. (Make sure you save it to a location where you can find it easily, like your desktop.)

6. Test other sites with PDFs. If those work and the site your trying doesn't, there may be something wrong with the site or the way your computer and/or browser handles the site. (I don't know the tech details behind this.)

7. Use a friend's computer to get the form you need. This could save you a lot of extra trouble. :-)

Try saving the file by right-clicking it.

Remember that Adobe PDF Reader opens very, very slowly. If you have a slow computer, this might compound the problem.

Also, your browser may not be set up to be compatible with it (though that is not likely) Look through your browser's manual to see if you can find a solution.

Lastly, if nothing else works, you can try IrfanView, though I don't think it will integrate with any browsers yet. At least you would be able to see if the PDF file is truly a PDF file (which it probably is, but sometimes, you never know.)
