I am wondering, is there such a law stating that when a person goes out on disability, must they return to the same position, salary, location ect? What if their employer moves them upon their return? I need references for such information if possible.

To my understanding, your employer can move you, especially if they need to accommodate special work restrictions. You can't expect them to just leave your position open when they need the work done. They are really only obligated to have SOME position open for you when you return. I believe the salary must remain the same.
