I feel exactly the same I am not that confident, but I treat people the way I want to be treated. Kind and courteous. It bothers me what people think, Sometimes I feel why are you judging me and thinking you don't like me when you don't know me. I think people can be judgemental without finding out the facts. Deep down if they took the time they would probably be surprised!!

i agree with her majesty, i also would add i often feel like that. I think it is because i care about so many people and try to do what i can for them. It is an upsetting thought that people may then have some sort of ill feelings towards me. I am sure you are everything you say you are. You just need to except that we all can make mistake and upset people. Sometimes people may just not like us. Unfortunatly this is LIFE and you really need to find a way to accept it.... Those that truly care about you will always understand and stand by you.... Stay self assured and be true to yourself.....

try looking at this from a different perspective..
as u said u are a strong independent person.. u have values and prinsipals then... this means that u make judgements.. or at least u try to seek a deeper person rather than simply taking face values....

what u feel is a reflection of how u would like to appear, but, as u try to read others, u expect them to apply their version of values to u too...

in short, we apply our own standards to others and naturally we are done by others rules towards us. we cannot change other peoples ideas of us, as they use rules constucted towards themself.... an understanding of urself and those that u really trust and hold near is what u must try to focus on... all else is mearly that... an opinion.., and any fool can have an opinion....as the saying goes.. u cant please all the people- all the time... just be happy

You may feel strong and self assured, but I think maybe under the skin you may be lacking confidence in yourself. It may stem from your childhood. Something that has been said and you have blanked out, but it is still lurking in the back ground.
Many people take offence and umbrage if something is said about them. Nothing wrong in that. Just believe in yourself.

Well you have to ask your self what is causing this? I think you are not as self assured as you claim to be. Something internally is making you feel very self conscious. I suggest you have an open honest conversation with yourself. And unpack those boxes you have so carefully tucked away under your brazen exterior. there you will find the answer to this question.

Yes you are right It also happens with. Everytime I am thinking of others, what they think of me..if I did this..what will happen if i would do anything wrong.

Same like you, I sometimes react in a very strange manner. I think we should focus on ourself. Despite the fact, people really think of other. Let them think, whatever they are thinking.
Just do it..whatever you want.

too much childish pride?

teens think the world revolves around them...I think its a response to watching too many fantasy movies and thinking just because someone can create a moment in a movie dosnt mean that is truly how people are..

Because everyone has a fear of being rejected. Just try not to let it overpower you and remember that everyone else feels the same way.

Because you lied in your first sentence, "I am a strong self assured woman".

If that were true, you wouldn't have to ask this question.
