It's ok to be frustrated. I don't think you necessarily hate the Navy itself, I think that because the Navy is the reason your husband isn't around you feel a strong bitterness toward it. I think that you're a strong woman for being in the situation where your husband isn't around and you don't have a choice, give yourself props for that. Many, including myself, probably couldn't do it. Stay strong, believe in faith, and he'll be home soon :)

good luck

Absolutely! I am right along with you but for the Army. Well actually the president. I just lost my brother. I can never hug him again, hear his laugh, hear him call me squirt (which I have always hated but now want to hear it) or anything, all I have is his pictures. I am so upset; ok; down right piss*d about this and I feel so much for the people that have loved ones over there. In my shop i have a cash box that people can donate to so i can purchase calling cards so people can hear their loved ones voices. So yes after all my blabbering... Yes you can be mad and hate the navy.

Under the circumstances yeah but even then I don't think it is the Navy you hate as much as its part of taking him away. If he had a desk job you wouldn't feel that way. Just tell yourself everyday that you love him, this is what he wants and you will be there for him. It is very honorable to serve our country so when you feel down remember that he is considered one of Americas heroes.

LOL.....I can't imagine too many military wives who don't. I live a short distance from a sub base. I'm willing to bet there are a lot of wives who'd like to keelhaul the skipper. Or at least the Admiral and the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

i know that it is ok to miss your husband since he is overseas right now. but i think that your anger is misplaced. he chose to be in the service and serve his country. the navy didn't make him join. it is ok to be upset that he is away. and that is perfectly normal especially if this is his first bought of being away since you were married.

Why not? Also hate Bush, corporations, the Army, Exxon, Texas, Mel Gibson and every other thing that is cool to hate these days.

it is natural because they are taking your husband away on a regular basis. however, you need to be supportive of your husband and the career he has chosen.

They've taken your husband away from you. Of course you'll hate them for it. That's perfectly normal.
