I did forget to take the pill one day, and took two the next day, but have taken it regularly since then. I've also taken this brand before with no problems. Is there a chance I could be pregnant? I don;t think I am, becuase the spotting has been more like straight bleeding, I just stopped having to wear a tampon. But the cramping is driving me nuts becuase one day I will have it all day long, and the next day it is on and off.

I've been through various birth control brands. I would think I'd found one that I responded to appropriately, then poof! Cramps, no regular cycle, etc. Talk to your OBGYN or doc. Just because you've had the brand doesn't mean you won't respond differently now. I would be on a pill anywhere from 2 months to at least a year before I'd cramp and have an extended cycle. I wouldn't be worried about being pregnant - but if you are then take a test. The tests over the counter are generally just as accurate as the one your OBGYN would have you use. It might just be time to switch pills - there are many to choose from with slight differences that can make all the difference as for our body's responses.

Hi again...forgetting it once shouldn't be a big deal, but take a pregnancy test just in case. The only way a pill works the 99% of the time, like it says on the package, is if it's taken every day, at the same time. I'm telling you, sweetie pie, it's just the wrong pill for you. Your body can change, so if you were on one medication and it once worked, it might not work again.

So PT, and once you see that's negative, take a big sigh of relief. Then switch pills. No biggie. Hang in there.

You should be fine. I get cramps too when I forget to take a pill. Heck I get sick! hehe I'm on Alesse though.

I would not worry about it, I'm sure you will be ok. If you are concerned and it has been less than 72 hrs since intercourse, you could always take Plan B. It is a very high dosage birth control pill.

Any time this happens you need to tell your doctor it could be something else and it better to be safe!
Good luck!
