No, that's fine! I go by myself to the movies all the time, usually on the spur of the moment. I think it's kinda more fun that way. Just get a hot dog and a big bucket of popcorn and enjoy! I usually go in the afternoon, though. Have fun!

Not at all I've been doing that since I was a kid. I got a bunch of friends, but there are times when you don't want to go and follow your friends everywhere, or they might not have any money. You gotta see some movies alone, because it helps you to not be co-dependent. Besides if they gotta be haters about a movie, there's no reason why you shouldn't see it if you want to. The very best times to me are when the movie theatre is empty and I'm the only person in the theatre

Not at all. Sometime that is the only way you can really see what you want to see. I had to go to a big concert by myself and it didn't bother me at all. Nobody pays attention to that. Just make sure you walk out with a group of people and keep your hand on your keys.

Best wishes. Hope you enjoy the cinema.

Not at all. You feel comfortable watching a movie at home alone, don't you? Why not go out and see it on the big screen with all the sound effects, popcorn...if going to the movies is something you enjoy, then go, even if no one goes with you. I went to a concert by myself because it was my favorite band, but none of my friends like that band. It was a blast!

I always go to the cinema on my own - there's nothing weird about it at all!

If you feel uncomfortable about sitting next to someone you don't know just go to a showing that's likely to be not so well attended so you've got a bit more space!

Maybe for you, if you're not used to it. It takes time to get used to it. The first few times are hard but manageable. It would be unusual for me, though, because I don't often go alone. Don't misunderstand me, there's nothing wrong with going to the cinema alone, Not morally. I just don't like to. I have gone alone, though. Want to team up?

My husband goes to the cinema a few times a month on his own whenever he can. If there is a film he wants to see, ie James Bond, never in a million years would I want to watch that with him. He goes on his own, buys himself a tub of ice cream and enjoys the film. There a quite a few who go by themself. I have gone on my own a few times while he watches the kids. Its lovely having time to myself, to watch a film, with no interruptions.

no - not at all. i do this quite often. i don't really understand the concept of going to the movies with your friends anyway. you can't talk during the film, afterwards you immediately go home - so what's the point?
and apart from that you can actually see the film YOU want and don't have to endure something that you couldn't care less about.

if you want to socialize IMO it's much better to go to the pub or have a party.

No, why would it be weird? Go and enjoy yourself. Just make sure you're able to get there and back safely and you don't sit near any weirdos. :) It's not strange to go to the pictures on your own, it shows you're brave enough to have your own taste! Well done, I say.

I do it all the time. Some of my friends think it's weird, but if there is a movie I want to see and no one else does, I'm fine with going solo.
