The 1st day of my last cycle was 11/28/2006 and the last day was the 12/03/2006. I'm pretty regular. I had sex on the 12/08/2006 and he ejaculated inside of me. My question is what is the possibility that I will be pregnant? And how long before I can find out if I am? And is it true that you can go to the Doctor five days after conception to have a blood test done to see if you are pregnant?

There is a chance you are pregnant. Based on the dates you provided, your "encounter" was 10 days after the start of your new cycle. Women are most fertile 10-16 days after the start of their last period (based on the length of your cycle). Sperm can live inside the body for anywhere from 48 hours to 7 days. A home pregnancy test can detect the pregnancy hormone a few days before your period (sometimes up to 5 days, but more likely about 2-3 days) There are a few "hints" to taking a pregnancy test:
-- Purchase a brand-name test. The generic tests and dollar-store brands do not necessarily detect the hormone at the lower levels like First Response or Answer Early.
-- Take the test first thing in the morning, when you just get up. First-morning urine has the highest concentration of the pregnancy hormone (if it is present) and will therefore yeild the most accurate result.
-- If the test still comes out negative, your next step is the doctor's office. A blood test will definitively tell if you are pregnant or not. And to asnwer your question, NO, you cannot get a blood test five days after having sex to find out of you are pregnant. The body takes quite a bit of time to build up the hormone in your body. You could possibly get a positive blood test one or two days sooner than an over-the-counter test, but most doctors require a positive home test before they order a blood test.

yes you could be pregnant! if you are of child bearing age having unprotected sex you can get pregnant. it doesnt matter to me the timing of it all. i got pregnant 8 years after having my tubes cut burned and tied. go figure. as far as going to the dr. to find out im not sure. but id just wait until next time your period is due before you panic.

TAKE A TEST IN A WEEK AND YOU'LL KNOW FOR SURE OR CALL THE DR AND ASK THEM ABOUT THE BLOOD TEST.

It depends on if you miss a period or not.
You should also take a test.

its too early to tell your period isnt due for two weeks you are probably ovulating now
