Some my 1st were...
Laugh Laugh - Beau Brummels
It's My Party - Lesley Gore
Teenage Cleopatra - Tracy Day
Single Girl - Sandy Posey

Some favorites were all my 12" 45s (disco) from the 70s.

Unfortunaely, I GAVE them all away (Hundreds of them) about 10 years ago because I got tired of lugging them around when we moved.. They are all extremely collectable now...

Luckily, I have replaced almost all of them by downlaoding them online.
I have about 5000 songs from the 1920s to today.... on CD.

I remember going to the record store with my sister to get a 45 by Captain Hook.....damn, I can't think of the song at the moment. My favorite 45 of my moms was "Marie La Voe".....I don't remember the first one I bought though, I remember the first album I bought because "The Stroke" wasn't released as a single.

EYE OF THE TIGER- SURVIVOR
My cousins and I would play it on our woody the woodpecker record player and rollerskate in our grandma's basement... drinking orange drink drink boxes until we could've exploded. She would yell at us to turn it down and we would pretend we couldn't hear her. Those were the good ol days.
