i hope not, these poor women have enough to worry about , as i assume its not a job of choice but necessity without some physco killing them, i know what they do is illegal but i feel as far as the police are concerned they are just left to look out for themselves

prostitutes tend to be an easy target for 2 reasons...... mainly because they will get into the car of a complete stranger, which anyone with common sense can figure out is just downright dangerous..... and the other thing is that a few people think of prostitutes as being almost less worthy of life than other people. - please note, this is NOT my belief, i am just summarising what i've seen on tv programs about serial killers.... anyway, getting back to the question, no - i do not believe that a copycat killer is on the loose, he has not murdered his victims in the same way as jack the ripper or the yorkshire ripper, and as for his reasons on killing these women in the first place, well, it's either because he knows that they are the easiest targets out there, or he has a hatred of women for some reason...... or more probably, a combination of both things.

At the moment, I think there's too much assumption in this case...
Firstly...there's the assumption that this is a man?
There's also the assumption that this killer has only started in the last 8 days.
Which isn't necessarily true, again...
Unfortunately, as always, the media are sensationalising this case to the maximum of their ability - already referring to this as "The Suffolk Ripper". Not only is this case unrelated in the means of attack, but this kind of link-making is feeding a panicked atmosphere, and could be feeding the megalomanic needs of an obviously disturbed individual.
There is also not enough empathy felt for these women and their families, their friends. Prostitutes or not, first they are human beings.
Obviously, there are often reasons for a killer's choice in victims - whatever they may be; although I believe that a minority of the public are less sympathetic for prostitutes.
Easy victims or not, they are still victims.

I consider myself an AMATEUR profiler. I have a degree in Psychology and a high I.Q. and I have looked extensively at the "Jack the Ripper" case. I am not a professional though, so don't take any of this as Gospel (Else more may die).
First of all! The "Worm" ie the new serial killer (How about the Suffolk Suffocater, News of The World?) is not the same type of serial as Mysterious Jack, or Yorkshire Jack. One was a ripper, the other a bludegeoner. This guy seems like a "cleanser". He kills to absolve his victims, to purify them. The first victims were found in the same stream. This is ritualistic behaviour (implying sophistication) and may add further cleansing. He hates women, but uses prostitution as a justification to kill women. His goal is simply to deny life, take control and show his "power". He is undermined by women, suggesting vulnerabilty in relation to his mother (Who was, no doubt, perfect in his eyes, unless he is honest). But I doubt that he has a history of violence toward women in general. I picture an unmanly, socially inadequate, but none-the-less, fairly successful individual, who was probably pretty good academically and has talent in his work zone. But he carries with him a burden of resentment. This probably is caused by intense family experienses that have been reinforced by his early-adult life experiences. The poor sod is a bit dissappointed. Aaah!
Like I say I am just an amateur, but if all this rings a bell, contact the authorities, just in case.

Nobody deserves to die in this way. There are sadistic perverts on the loose who will seize on any opportunity to satisfy the evil lust that has ravaged their pitiful worthless bodies. Prostitutes are probably an easy target, but the person(s) involved wont care who their next target is. Likening these losers as copycat killers will only spur them to commit more callous deeds. Should anybody have an inkling as to who is responsible, report them to the police.May God Rest those who have died.

Well I would not give the person a name other than idiot, too many want fame and are catered to by the media. They should give the victims the press coverage, the murdering lowlife the gallows ASAP. They will find him or her if they follow the usual pattern of craving publicity. Sadly prostitutes & street people are available and unwanted so disposible and easily forgotten. I hope they get whom ever it is quickly these women were someones child, sister, mother, friend. Take care and be safe ~A~

And since prostitutes live on the fringes of society, they are always easy prey.
