Look at it from a different prospective.
Is it ok for a 15yr old girl to raise a child? Can she feed him, change his diaper, provide for his education, raise him in a loving home?
Once upon a time, in the not so distant past, yes women did get married at age 14(and then had sex.) They were married to older men, who had jobs and supported the family. The woman stayed at home cleaning, cooking, doing the dishes, sewing clothes, and all that other stuff that made a great domestic. Thats what women did.
These days women do anything a man can do.... and more. But they cannot do this when they are pregnant at 14.
Do you know how many people will go out and buy a lottery ticket today? Did you know that using the absolutely best form of contraception the chances of getting pregnant is 20 THOUSAND times greater than winning the lottery?
So go play the lottery, you'll be able to do a lot more with your life than playing with sex.

Depending on where you live in the world, it may be perfectly legal to have sex at 14, however that doesn't mean someone of that age is ready to have sex and deal with the consequences.
In my view, given that you feel the need to ask the question in the first place, I'd say no in this instance.

Sex is wonderful and beautiful thing that should be saved for someone that you trully, deeply, madly are in love with and I am sad to say that I doubt you will find that person at 14. Wait a while and don't be in such a rush to have sex. I was 21 when I lost my virginity and it was to the woman I have now been married to for over 10 years.

No it is not okay to have sex at 14. There are many reasons such as health risks and falling pregnant. Wait until you find the right person when you are older. There is plenty of time ahead of you.

i onceread a saying: When you love someone you know, when you are in love with someone everyone else knows. I think that if you have to ask the question AM I READY? Which is really what your asking, your not. Are you in love with this person, is your relationship more that just physical? When you look at this person do you feel thier love toward you? when this person looks at you can feel what they are trying to say? If you can answer yes to all of these truthfuly, if you can your ready. But dont do it just because your friends want you to. So many people regret having sex at a young age because they really didnt love the person, if you say i think love them and i think that person loves me. you shouldnt think, if your ready you KNOW. you dont have to ask you just know!
Hope i helped and hope you make the right choice!good luck!

There is no age that it's okay to start having sex...everyone is different. Before you make this big step you need to make sure your ready to deal with all the consequences....STD's, pregnancy, and the emotional aspect of sex. If you cannot deal with all areas then your not ready. Think before you make this decision. Good Luck!!

Personally I think not...you aren't ready till you can deal with the consequences of having sex...such as pregnancy, or an std. At 14...you are definately not ready for it.

Are you ready to deal with the consequences? Risk of stds or pregnancy? Since you're 14 you probablly don't have a job which means definately NOT ready for a baby, that's just one reason you arent's ready for a baby, and who wants an std?
You're still a baby wait for someone who loves and respects you and whom you love and respect equally...Hope this helps good luck!!!

NO, it is NOT OK. Physically, mentally, emotionally, psychologically and maturity-wise you are NOT ready for the responsibilities that come with sex. WAIT!
