ok, can anyone tell the translations of all the names of the characters of dragon ball z, someone told me that their names are funny when translated because they mean objects and food.

names:
Vegeta is vegetable
Nappa is chinese cabbage
Raditz- raddish
Chi-Chi is milk
Yamucha is Yum cha- chinese dim sum
Broly is broccoli

It's true. Akira Toriyama never really wanted the series to be serious, so he named his characters after food and clothing.

Bulma = "bloomers"
Gohan = rice
Vegeta...well, you get the idea.
Remember Oolong the pig character? If he had a last name, I bet it would be Tea. lol And Goku's given name, Kakarot means carrot, if memory serves.

It is true, for example Gohan means fried rice. Almost all aliens have some food like name and Bulma's family is related to underwear.
