I already have over 2,000 songs saved on my PC hardrive but I can't seem to transfer all my ripped songs and albums from CD's onto the iPod. Can somebody please help me out?

Add all your songs to one folder. on iTunes go to File, Add Folder to Library. From the list choose the folder where you put your songs, then sync to the iPod

First install iTunes from the CD that came w/ the iPod. If you don't have a CD you can dowload it from apple's website. Once iTunes is installed you can have it search for all music files on your hard drive to import into iTunes (should do this automatically after you install). Once iTunes is installed and your music has been imported into iTunes library, just plug your iPod into your PC and wait while the songs are loaded onto the iPod.

FYI- if the iPod is brand new you may have to format it first. Read the instructions that came w/ the iPod or go to apple's website.

put them into itunes by clicking and dragging (at least on a mac) and then you can update your ipod. if you don't know how to update it, read the little book that came with it.
