psychic abilities List?

Question

I am looking for a list of psychic abilites. EX: Reading rooms, talking with the dead, reading minds and so on. I need a list of abilites and what they do. If someone knows aobut this or a website please post.

Think of any ability that a human can have, then imagine that a person can use this ability at a great range, without having to touch things, or over a strange distance of time.

That being said, here are some examples (for a more exhaustive list, buy the Mutants and Masterminds Super Hero Roleplaying game by Steve Kenson, published by Green Ronin):

Presence Sense - - - begins as a feeling that you get when someone far away is looking at you, proceeds to the feeling you get when people far away are thinking about you, or when you are in the presence of spirits or Astral Projecting beings.


Clairsentience - - - the abilty to use one or more of your senses farther away (extensively) than 'normal', or farther away in time than 'normal'. Heads a whole catagory:

Precognition - - - the ability to understand varying degrees of a possible future.

Postcognition - - - the ability to understand varying degrees of the past.

Psychometry - - - begins as the ability to touch things and feel the strong emotions of those who last touched that thing, proceed as the ability to 'record' emotions and perceptions into objects in such a way that almost anyone touching such objects can perceive the 'recorded' emotions or perceptions.

Clairvoyance - - - the ability to see visions of how things are at unspecified distances from the viewer, particularly when stimulated by pictures or clothing of the the one being sought.

Clairaudience - - - the ability to hear sounds at unspecified distances from the hearer.

Clairtangence - - - the ability, at a distance, to feel what the target object or being feels like (texture, temperature, etc) without touching it.

Clairfactorance - - - the ability, at a distance, to smell what the target object or being smells like.

Clairgustance - - - the ability, at a distance, to taste what the target object or being tastes like.

Clairentropance - - - the ability to perceive the next most likely result of any kind of random number generator,, what part of a being, object, or system is the weakest or most subject to 'wear and tear' (or any of the other things controlled by Entropy).

Aura sight - - - the ability to perceive parts of the being that is being viewed which are 'nornally' invisible, which varies quite a bit (state of health, irritations, states of mind, reactions, pregnancy, etc).


Empathy - - - the ability to feel, at a distance, the emotions and reactions of the being that is being viewed or that you are connected to.


Telepathy - - - begins as the ability to project thoughts and receive projected thoughts, proceeds to the ability to receive unprojected thoughts.


Cyberpathy - - - begins as the ability to perceive things that are going on inside computers at a distance without touching them or communicating with them, including the ability to use a computer-driven device without an output device, proceeds as the ability to control which 'switches' are activated within computers at a distance without touching them or communicating with them.


Telempathy - - - the ability to make people or beings that you are targeting feel the emotions or sensations that you desire them to at a distance without touching or communicating with them.


Teletransferance - - - the ability to take an emotion or sensation that you are having, cease having it and make a being that you are targeting have it without touching them or communicating with them,, or the ability to take an emotion or sensation that the being you are targeting is having, make them stop having it and you start having it without touching them or communicating with them.


Telekinesis - - - the ability to move things (objects, amounts of air, water, or dust, animals, parts of animals, people, parts of people) at a distance without touching them.

Levitation - - - the ability to move yourself [or your targets] upward or downward without touching anything [or them].

Pyrokinesis - - - the ability to speed up the rate of molecular movement in an object without touching it, such that it gets warmer and/or 'spontaneously' combusts.

Cryokinesis - - - the ability to slow down the rate of molecular movement in an object without touching it, such that it gets colder and/or freezes.

Electrokinesis - - - the ability to control non-computer controlled devices at a distance without touching them or communicating with them.

Astral Projection - - - the ability to 'move' your center of perception 'out' of your physical body in order to perceive things as if you were flying, perceive things, people, places, and situations distant from you without communicating with such, and to 'move' your center of perceptions to 'other layers' of this world or to other worlds entirely.

Teleportation - - - the ability to move from one place to another without traveling thru the distance in between them, without deletorious momentums, etc.

Psychiphagus - - - the ability to subsist on the 'psychic energy' of others.

Hypervitalism - - - the ability to overproduce 'life energy'.

Vitalophagus - - - the ability to subsist on the 'life energies' of others.
