if you don't agree with war, how can you support our troops? think about it- they did volunteer to do something you don't think is right. granted, most of them did it because of the bribes they offer with free schooling, etc.

really, how do you support them when you don't agree with them?

You can support them because they have faught before for our freedoms. You don't agree with where they are right now but it's not their fault. A soldier can do something without it having anything to do with the President. Which is why I support our troops and how they, as individuals grew up and joined the military because of an idea. It's that IDEA that I support and that idea is in every soldier. The war, however, can be unjust. I respect our troops and the sacrifices they're making but I don't respect the man who put them in danger for little reason.

It's possible to support troops but be against a war. I can prove it by just being me. It's what I do. You can't change my mind because it's a perminant thing about me. I will always love our troops and maybe someday be one. I will love the things they fight for. But I may not always agree with what they're told to do. That's ok though. Because I'm not anti-American and I'm not anti-Military. I love America. I just know that every country can make a mistake and that's ok. We can't ignore it as some right wingers do and we can't hate America or give up like some left wingers do.

We move on. So it's ok if YOU feel that you have to support the troops and the war or not... that's fine. But it's not required. Support or be against what you want. That's the beauty of America.

God Bless It.

What would you do to show your non-support? Stone them, take away property.Even If you feel the war is wrong. The troops feel their doing something noble. For that they deserve respect. We'll all be better off if the troops are right and you're wrong.Even you.

Every American should support our troops! Regardless of your opinion of the war, you enjoy every day freedoms--although we do take our fredom for granted because we're so used to having freedom. Those soldiers... defending our country...are sons & daughters of honest, hard-working American citizens.

Be thankful that the troops volunteered to defend your freedom & liberties!

No.
You either support the way any president uses our troops in every, single situation, or you don't support the troops.
You don't get to choose not to support misuse of the troops.
It's all or nothing.

btw...this is sarcasm. The troops don't get to choose which wars the president uses them in. They just get orders to go and fight. As an American, it's our JOB to monitor the way our president uses the troops, and to complain LOUDLY when he misuses them.
Remember, they are our loved ones.

I dont have anything against the war but i do believe that a more republican man that joined the military in hopes of going to war could possibly have very democratic parents that are against war but still love their son.

THIS HAS BECOME A LIB MONTRA EVER SINCE VIIETNAM BECAUSE THEY LOOKED SO BAD SPITTING ON THE TROOPS WHEN THEY CAME HOME. ITS BS AND EVERYBODY KNOWS IT. NICE ESCAPE VALVE SO THEY DONT HAVE TO FACE THE REAL ISSUES HEADON LIKE ISLMANISTS SLICING OFF A NICE YOUNG AMERICAN BOY'S HEAD AS HE WAS PASSING THROUGH IRAQ ON A LARK. BAD MOVE BUT MOST FOLKS DONT REALLY CARE. MOST AMERICANS DONT WANT TO FACE REALITY BECAUSE IT TAKES TOO MUCH TIME AWAY FROM PS3 OR SHOPPING. AND IT ACTUALLY REQUIRES THOUGHT.

If you look at in the way of supporting your fellow man through his trials and tribulations, then you can support each and every individual that is in that situation, without supporting the cause that put him in harms way.

i think of you may, it incredibly is totally achieveable to stand in the back of a individual inspite of the ideology. it incredibly is like the previous asserting, "i will disagree with what you're saying, yet i will shield to the loss of existence your ideal to assert it."--Voltaire in simple terms given which you disagree with the coverage and rationalization for the conflict, does no longer advise which you won't be able to help the adult men and ladies folk who're being made to combat it. tell yourfriend that calling you a hypocrit is plenty off base, you nevertheless do no longer help the war, yet you're helping people who're faraway from abode and who would probable lose their lives because of the fact of it.
