get the xbox. when the novelty of the wii controller wears of in a few months, you will be left with a last gen console with an awkward control style that makes games more frustrating than fun.
No offense buddy, the people who work at Best Buy usually don't know sh*t. Just ask the geek squad. If you bring in your computer to them to fix, 90% of them will recommend a re-format of the hard drive / full system recovery to fix your system if it is software related (trojan, virus, etc..) AND CHARGE YOU OVER 50 BUCKS TO DO IT.

Its hard to say. Xbox 360 you're spending alot more. But it has HD games, Internet, and has HALO. But the wii which have is really, i mean REALLY fun. Its has motion sensors, pretty good graphical games and has internet. oVARALL the Wii is more worth the money. You trust me, I work at Best BUy.

Wii becuase of the low costs and the features that make it so fun to play.
