I need to find a good place in downtown Portland,OR to live. Apartment preferred...any suggestions?

Looking for a dog friendly apartment...at least 2 bedrooms in a cool area of town. My daughter would like to be downtown if possible...She's 15 and wants to be able to do some roaming and I want it to be safe for her.
