I've noticed this recently, most of the scenarios are built upon the self-realization, and coming out of the "teenager lesbian girls around their 15-16's. Do you think the film industry is going to exceed its limits and come to the adults someday?
There ARE some very important and interesting films with bright scenarios too but as far as i 've seen they form the minority..What is your opinion?

I've noticed the same thing. It's like lesbianism is the star of the show. How about lesbianism as a side plot?

There are so many stories--a lesbian couple deals with one's cancer, the wedding of a lesbian couple's child, etc. Why not show middle-aged, or even elderly, women? Why not a movie about the rifts that can come up in families? Why not a comedy about a couple trying to adopt or a troublesome cat with lesbian owners?

We need to write some damn scripts. :-)

If you haven't noticed movies are usually targeted towards men, that is why most women are attractive yet not as many men are. They show nude scenes with women far more than they show nude scenes with men. And lesbians are mostly put into movies as a fantasy for men. That is why lesbians are always young beautiful and a lot of times innocent. That is the way men want to see them.
