I have a cream Belstaff jacket which has discoloured around the neckline due to being stored in a plastic type suit cover. I have tried soaking in warm water with washing powder but the stain is still there. any advice would be appreciated. thanks.

This isn't meant to be a smart aleck answer but, it sounds like you're at the point where you can try anything, you can't ruin it anymore. In other words, if you try something that works, GREAT!, but if not, it's already ruined.
