i don't remember, but he probably wasn't very pleased. and since the action of the story is basically about bilbo, thranduil's contemporary reaction to the escape probably isn't told. although he may express his reaction when he reappears in the story later.

His reaction wasn't noted until later in the book, when they got to Moria, after Smaug was defeated, and war was about to commence between Elves and Dwarves.

He considered them "escapees", but once the war started, he didn't care, since they proved their worth by fighting alongside the Elves.
