Ive been going to the tanning bed for awhile about 6 years off and on. I have a pretty good base tan but with more of a red tint than tan. I dont use any lotions in the bed but i want to start protecting my sking more and at the same time deepen the bronze of my tan.
What are some good products you swear by??

Yes, i turn white quickly. I guess it would be because my grandfather is Irish? I dont know. I will get so white that i feel like im transparent. This is for all the anti tanning bed people. I am 29 and people tell me i look like i am no older than 22. Ive been going to the tanning bed for about 6 years. I go in the summer except this year because we bought a house with a pool and i used natural sunlight to tan. I look better and feel better when i go to the bed. My skin looks healthier and i feel that way too. I look sick when i havent been to the tanning bed. Im not a tanning bed hound....i just like to go every now and then so i will look and feel better

I use Halo. It has a bronzer and no tingle so you will not get as red. You should also try a high pressure bed like the 600 or 650. They are for bronzing and depending on your skin, you may not have any red when you get out of the bed.

Everyone has a different skin type and will have a different glow to there skin. You must have a red/pink ting to yours. there is really nothing that you can do to change that. By using a UVA in the tanning bed is defeating the purpose of going there. Make sure that you use moisture's while you tan this is very important. If you really want to protect your skin you should not tan at all and use a high UVA during all out door activities. However if you are like me you don't feel good about yourself when you white. Which you are probably a fair person that is why you have the pink skin pigments.

I really don't like tanning beds, its just another way to get cancer, and trust me skin cancer is no walk in the park. Your skin starts scabbing and peeling over, and you need to get it removed, and you can get that it hurts like hell.
Anyways, I would use something along the times of a tanner with at least spf 15 in it. I know there are ones by banana boat and tropical something or other. You can actually get a tan with sunscreen on, and its the healthy way to do it.

Hawiian Tropical Dark Tanning Spray oil. It works great and gives you a very nice tan. If you have sensitive skin though, I recommend The Lotion SPF 8.
Good Luck!!

I use Hempology lotion, it is a bronzing lotion, not a tingle lotion (which is on reason that I use it) and also it is a water based lotion instead of an alcohol based so it doesn't dry out your skin! My first warning...do not use anything from the Australia Gold brand!! You are throwing your money away if you use that lotion!!

You can't protect your skin and use a tanning bed. It just isn't possible. The tanning bed ages you, and damages your skin. As long as you are getting color, you are getting sun damage to your skin. There is absolutely no way to avoid that fact of life.
Maybe you could start trying Mystic Tan. You get a nice color, but it's sunless tanner. That actually looks real.

Hempz is a really good one and smells awsome. You should always use an indoor tanning lotion when using tanning beds. Moist skin absorbs better than dry.

I usually use sunscreen. Look for one that has an SPF rating. They are the best. The higher the number rating, the better the tan. Hope this helps, Pete.
