I really want my ear lobes pierced, they would look so nice, but I'm way too scared. i'd love my left carlige done too, but that would be even more painful so i've heard. my friends say it doesn't hurt, but how can a needle/gun piercing your ear not hurt? How does having you're lobes and cartliges hurt compared to: Eyebrow plucking, dentist injections, a general doctors jab, pinching yourself with sharp nails as hard as you can? Please be as specific as you can! :)

i just got my 2nd holes pierced last spring break. it felt like being stung by a bee. it just pinches for like 5 seconds and its over. its really not that bad. id have to say it hurts almost the same as plucking your eyebrows (for me).
i think you should go get them :) good luck

I got my ears pierced when I was eleven, and it stung at first, but after a few minutes, I was fine! However, I have known people to have a wide range of reactions from not being able to feel a thing to throwing up! So just make sure you get your ears pierced at a safe, sterile place. Check to make sure they use new, clean needles on everyone, that the size of the earring is not too small (otherwise the stud can fall inside of your piercing - this happened to me and was NOT fun!) and that their employees are skilled.
Compared to eyebrow plucking, it has the same feeling, but a little more intense. I've never had a dentist injection, sorry, but as for a doctor's jab, it hurts in a different sort of way. It's closer to pinching yourself with sharp nails, except pinching is more a prolonged feeling.

ok i just just got my second holes in each ear(lobe) and it was way less painfull than trying to pinch yourself. i know this because i pinched myself every day for about a week to prepare myself, but then when i finally got pierced, the only thing i regreted was putting myself through the pain of the pinching! please don't expect the worst of this beacause it does look nice and its totally worth it because it doen't hurt at all. yes you'll feel it and for a couple days your ears will be really sensitive so make sure you dont get them caught on stuff like hats or hair. but thats pretty much it because trust me im really sensitve physically and it didn't hurt me.

Well I don't remember the first time I got my ears pierced cuz I was like 3 months old... but I got them double pierced in February and I felt like a tiny pinch.. They put the ear piercing guns to my ears and took them away and I'm like did you do it? And they're like yeah. And I was like wow. lol. So yeah compared to eyebrow plucking I think it hurts less maybe the same.. I hope it works out for you :)

It's totally over before you feel a thing. Also if you hold on to something tight it hurts less. It only really hurts as much as a small pinch. I pierced my cartlige myself and it didn't hurt that bad. Trust me it's pain that you can manage and its worth it.

Ok, the gun does hurt. I won't lie to you. The easiest way to get your ears pierced is with a needle. Go to a tatoo parlor that does piercings. Trust me on this one. I have my nose pierced and I didn't feel a thing!

It does not hurt at all. I had my ears pierced last week.Just close your eyes and in a few seconds its all done. Ok don't be scared because, I was and it turned out perfectly fine.

well were you want that done there's a bone there so when it is done that bone will never grow back. also anytime a needle is thrusted into your ear and out the other side it is going to hurt and you risk infection, also you can trust your friends talk to your mom our a doctor

when you get your ears pierced it doesn't hurt it only stings a tiny bit and after you get it pierced and the fear goes away thats when you can really feel the stinging but TRUST ME!!!! it doesn't hurt it just stings like a paper cut a tiny paper cut because when you have a paper cut you don't even relize it until you feel stinging later on but soon enough the stinging will go away and your ears will look great!

if you want it done do it. i got my right cartlige peirced at the same time i got my tragus done and all i felt was heat, my ear felt really hot. but other then that it only hurts for less then a second but if you keep doubting yourself youll never do it
