Didn;t the USA win the War of Independence because of help from France and other euro countys?

Its obvious that its Britain as all Americans who ever had a link with the place are more than happy to tell you about it.
Look at the amount of Pipe Bands and Irish Associations etc in America alone!
We know its Britain, but if it makes YOU happy to think its America then why should I burst your bubble.
PS America has NEVER beaten Britain in any war. You even Needed the Native American Race to fight your battles at Boston!
Get your facts right and engage your brain before you open your mouth.
Johnboy, unless you are Native American Indian you and everyone else in America is an Assylum Seeker of sorts. Don't cast stones when you live in a glass house! At least ALL of the people moving here can speak our language. How many languages are spoken in America?
I think if you catch a Cab in Miami, you will find it hard to hold a conversation unless you speak some form of hispanic!

Why it has to be one of these two countries? Neither would be my first choice, because in a way they are quite the same in a negative way!
However if I had to choose between the two that would be Britain, because unlike the USA they haven't completely alienated themselves from the rest of the world! (Although that is an accomplishment of that retard called President Bush and not of the American people)

Yes, they did need a bit of help and both countries have good and bad sides. But I can't see how a country whos PM licks another country's president's back side could be called any better than a president who takes a few countries to war with more cons than pros. But just to be biased I'd say the UK but they are both corrupt and have some good people.

I love the USA and Britain too ( my home ) but you will notice that the early settlers named lots of the towns and cities after places they missed back home.

britain, america is full of fatties and other yanks, and they got an annoying accent, although so have some brits, but not as annoying as the yanks (except wales)
