I have myspace for my friends and family members only. I started myspace just to decorate it up but now i keep in touch with the people i have on my page. I am 27 years old.

I have found that myspace is full of fake people that use myspace to "advertise" themselves as something they are not. I know of many musicians that use it for good reasons, but I personally stay away because i don't feel it necessary to compete with the fakes. The only way to really get to know somebody is to meet them, and myspace is the total opposite of this.
Facebooks and some of the "stay in touch with friends from the past" sites are kinda cool, since re-connecting with someone from the past is a VERY cool concept. Though, i don't use them.
It's funny, that in this day and age when you can travel across the world in hours, why you would be content with "meeting people" over the internet. Go out, meet people at the local market, coffee house, pubs, banks, ANYWHERE!!!..why must i go online for the pure purpose of meeting someone?

Well, I am on myspace and have been for a couple of years, my daughter who is a way at college is on it and tht is why i am it's fun it keeps me busy plus i have found some old friends who are on it and it is a way of keeping in touch. I am 43 :O i knw. pretty old u would think but actually there are a lot of folks my age and older on it (decent folk) the ones i know that is

I have a myspace and I got it to get in touch with a friend that I hadn't seen in a while. Before I knew it, I had a ton of old friends that "added me," and I was thrilled.
So to answer your question, I have a myspace to keep in touch with friends.

I use the internet for email to keep in touch, for research for my kids who are in school, for games for entertainment, and for yahoo answers because I like giving advice. If I wanted to make friends I would go outside to the real world and make some. Part of the reason people are so overweight now a days is because they don't go outside and move around they just sit on their *** and do everything they need to do online. Fresh air does a body good.

I do have a myspace and had one since february but only have one to stay in touch wit friends and b/c they kept asking and telling me dat i should have one, so i finally made one mostly for their own sake.
