I'm 28 and like the Potter films, however, if I had been little when the books and movies came out, I probably would've had no interest in them.
I do wish they would've filmed them the way they did Lord of the Rings - all the movies in the same year - the guy who plays Potter, and all the other characters - have gotten so old now and they don't like quite right anymore!

I do. I let my son. I make him read the books and then watch the movies and I also let him play the games also. And we both are Harry Potter nuts.

well the whole conflict about Harry Potter is pretty stupid, because Harry Potter is just a fantasy story, its not real! and yes I watch harry potter

my parents let me and my little brother watch them and read the books. they are fans themselves.
personally i don't see what the problem with the books is. there's nothing wrong with them. they got my brother into reading and a lot of other kids and adults are now reading thanks to the HP books
