You were hired for a big project. Your the only one in your department as they created this position to take care of the big project. The project is pretty much finished and your boss knows it. You really dont have much to do and are getting paid to basically come in, take care of a couple of things, and hang out on Yahoo Answers. Do you say something to your boss ? If so, what ? And if you dont say anything, why ?

I should be a pro at this, this is what I do for a living. If there's nobody at the counter there's nothing for me to do, as long as my boss leaves me alone..why say anything? He knows i've got nothing to do. If he wanted you to do something...he'd surely tell you.

it depends on you, do you want to sit around and be lazy, or do you want to be productive and maybe turn this into something more permanent. if your boss knows the project is done then they are keeping you around for some reason. don't forget that the next job you apply for will probably call the boss you have now for info on how good of a worker you are.

Does someone else need a hand with another project? Are you salary or hourly? If hourly, find something to do for cryin' out loud!!!
