I can't wait either....to read the second part, Eldest, and to see the movie.
The effects with Saphira seem stunning. I hope they do well by the story and stick to the plot.

Oh Yeah!!! Not only are we excited, we are counting done the days....well my two sons are 14 and 12 years old. So much so they just got a puppy for christmas (early christmas) and they named it after a dragon from the book.
I hope it sticks close to the story, no movie is ever as good as the book, but with a book this greatthe movie will have to be atleast a good one.

Looks way cool in the previews.
My son aged 9 loves dragons but he's afraid it may be a little scary for him. I hope he decides to see it but I'm going regardless.
The last Harry Potter was a bit dark for him although he did love the draqon part.
