If the employee confides in the doctor/boss, wouldn't he be more inclined to tell her what she wants to hear?
Would something seem wrong to you if the doctor never even looked at this employee's previous records until after the initial exam was done ? Take it a step further, what if this boss/doctor performs surgery on this employee and gives two different stories to two different people on the findings/results? Would you question this doctor's intensions considering these scenarios ?

I think if the employee wants to have him as their Dr then it is their choice. He isn't going to look at them any different then he does any of his other patients.
