Engine Assembly generally refers to most of the components that you see under the hood of your car. This includes the engine block as well as all of ancillary equipment required to enable the engine to run, such as water pump, cooling fan, alternator.

Of course if the word Assembly is a verb, then it would just mean putting the engine together.
