What would your reaction be if the Lions draft Calvin Johnson, WR from Georgia Tech with there 1st pick this year?

With Millen in charge don't think it can't happen!

I'm not asking if you think they will draft him. I'm just asking what your reaction would be (anger, laughter, whatever). Sorry if I wasn't clear, but so far so good with reason why they shouldn't.

p.s. Millen isn't going anywhere...ANGRY!

LOL David...Kitna is 34 years old ...oh dear god...not another WR...we need some aggressive boys on defense who play like they are 13 years old and their main goal is to kick some serious *** in order to get control of the ball...after they fire Millen, that is

The lions do not need another wide receiver. That team has some serious problems and I think it starts at the top.
The best thing would be for Ford to sell the team, the new owners fire Millen then the coach and start over.
This has been a losing organization forever and their problems are deeper then the players.
I can say this because I am from Michigan

I would be surpised. Depends on who handles the draft and if Mike Martz returns. Their biggest need is up front on the offensive line, they have Kitna and two young quarterbacks to groom, and, that is the strength of Martz. D-Line not bad, especially when Rogers is healthy and drug free. Second need is defensive backfield.

Will be shocked if Millen is still in charge by the draft.

Calvin Johnson has stated that he was not going pro (at least for now)

Sorry, but they need a QB first. And I don't think Millen's going to be around for next year's draft, not if the people in Detroit have anything to say about it...

They shouldnt draft another reciever because they do have able recievers (Mike Furry) and they have wasted there picks on them
Troy Smith si a great COLLEGE QB
but hes not a great pro QB - hes to short
I could very well see Brady Quinn at Detroit
and tehy could use a running back too
but Mike Hart is going back next year
and they shouldnt get Adrian Peterson because hes fragile
i think theyll get quinn this year and then wait to get one of the quality runningbacks comming out of next years draft (Hart, McFadden, Lynch, Walker, Pittmen )

i wouldnt be surprised if they did do something stupid like that they already chose a reciever 1st round like 4 times in a row. I think they should get a running back. Maybe Adrian Petterson or the the running back from michigan St.

they are definitely not drafting him. Jon Kinta is probably going to retire at the age of 33 or something so if they keep playing bad they could be able to draft Brady Quinn or Troy Smith ,if their lucky
