I'm looking to open up a bar/lounge, but have no idea (1) how much money I'd need to open it up and ready it for clientele and (2) how I'd get my hands on that much money, stuck as a temp. Does anyone have any advice for me?

You need to write a business plan and borrow the money from a bank. First make sure your credit rating is good 720 or above, then make sure you have some kind of certificate and restaurant/bar experience. You'll need at least 100k for a small place. It cost a lot to open a bar and they say if you break even in the first year your lucky. Best way to get capital is to have rich relitives or a rich partner.
