Details:
Ortho Evra patch used perfectly for 8 months
28 day cycle
Hubby and I babydance every day
Never late
Period is due today
Swolen Breast, dark blue enlarged viens on breast, chest and arms, slightly sick feeling today, HOWEVER, I just got over the stomache flu.
I know I could just take a test, and find out for sure, so i don't really know why I am bothering w/ asking. Maybe bc I am stuck at work, and cant get to the drug store RIGHT now to test. Do any of you think I may be pregnant. I would like to hear from faithful BC users, and know their stories. Please don't answer w/ just a yes, or no. Give reasons why or why not. Please don't answer unless you have been PG before. (I have one daughter, 3yrs, but I accidently found out I was expecting her when I went in for my yearly check up.. :) Thanks!

Not really "TRYING" for baby, but not preventing anymore either.
BOOBS ARE CRAZY SORE!!
Eating anything at all still make me feel bad, then again, I am thinking that is bc of the stomache virus I had. ??

Okay, one more thing... by pressing on my LOWER abdomen, *where my uterus is*, Its SLIGHTLY tender... but seems a little enlarged, and not quite as soft... I have never checked how it felt before a period before... so would this be bc of PG, or period? Or could it occur w/ either?

Wow, one more thing...
I was eating lunch w/ my mother, and suddenly felt faint and queezy (about an hour ago)... Sort of like the feeling you get when you stand up way too fast, but I was seated. My mother asked me if I thought I might be expecting... I told her I didn't know. Now she is all excited at the possibility. :) So cute.

I stopped using bc about 2 months ago. Last month, my breasts were very sore, which is unusual, and I was having weird cramping for a few days. I thought I might be pregnant, but my period came a few days later.
It's possible that you are pregnant, but I would wait a few more days to test, because it might just be your body's reaction to getting off bc. Goodluck with whatever the outcome!

It all depends on how much hormone your body produces. The part about the veins on your breast are usually a dead give away, but you never know. A test right away can turn out positive (it did for a friend of mine), but for me, I spend a a bunch of money on test and even a doctors visit with a negative blood test and then a month later no period and a positive pregnany test at the doctors. They later figured that I had been pregnant when I tested previously, but it was just too soon for my body.
Try to wait a week after your period would have ended so you don't spend money you don't need to. I know how anixous you can be about it, but waiting will guarentee acurrate results.

Okay getting pregnant can be possible but baby dancing to much can also hurt your chances. You would get a positive answer today you should wait until you are late. If all hopes fail check out www.mymonthlycycles.com and chart you periods so you can find out you ovulation days or speak to an OB/GYN. Good Luck.

I would definitely suggest testing tomorrow morning. Its always possible to get pregnant when using BC. A really good website to read while you are waiting to get home and test is www.twoweekwait.com - it has stories of every type of conception and symptoms. Good Luck!

You can always get pregnant on BC. However, being that you just had a stomach bug, its more likely thats why you're late.
You can change severity, and develop new PMS symptoms at anytime, it doesnt mean you're pregnant.
If you're super worried, of course you should take a test, but its unlikely.

i was on the patch and got pregnant a week after i stopped using it. you definately sound pregnant. when i was pregnant with my son i did not know for at least two months bc i had my period the first month with him good luck!! lol at the "babydancing"

all those could be period things, except the blue veins. that sounds like pregnant to me. get a test or check up. good luck

Does the sick feeling go away (especially with dry bland foods)? Also, not only will your breasts be swollen, they will also hurt/ache usually. I would get a test if you have these symptoms as well.

It sure does sound like it to me...I would send my huisband a email or call hima t work or home and ask him to get one and have it ready fro when I got home or even to bring it to work in a paper bag ifg you dont want anyone to see
