nothing is wrong with you our bodies develope differenty some people develope slow and some develope fast. when i was in secondary school i felt the same way. all my friends had started their periods and i was the last one. When i started i was happy but as time went along i wished i would have started later . pains were really bad. but nothing is wrong with u, some girls don't start their periods until there are 18 just enjoy the you have left.

Take your time, once you start your period you're not gonna want them. There is NOTHING wrong with you. Alot of times you can go by when your mom started around them. But not always. I was 14 years old when I started, I work in gynecolgy and we have girls who haven't started till 16 years old. If they are 16 years old then the doctor just starts running lab tests to make sure everything is ok. Everyone has a different internal clock for this.

Just give it time, we all start our period when we least expect it. Trust me, you'll have one and you won't like them. So enjoy this time while you can. Be pad and tampon free!!

everyone is different..... i'm afraid that u don't have much choice other than to wait for things to happen naturally. i've never heard of anything that can speed up the onset of periods, and as u know, the doctor won't do anything about it until u are at least 16. i know u are a bit worried about it and you're wanting your periods to start so that u know everything is ok, but try not to stress too much about it. i'm sure that everything is fine, and believe me, periods can be a total pain to live with - stomach cramps, mood swings, spots...... in some ways u are lucky - at least u get a couple less years of all those things.

Sorry there isn't anything to speed up the process. The best guess you can come up with as to when you will start is to find out when your mom and any of her sisters started theirs (if she has any sisters). You should start about the same age they did. There isn't anything wrong with you though if your mom started earlier though so don't get worried if you are already older than she was. It is all about your genes and not your age. It sounds like you are going through puberty now and it will not be long. Just so you know, worrying can cause your period to be late (seriously) so don't worry about it!

I have 4 daughters and all are very healthy, although they started their periods at different ages from 10 - 16+. I started at 10 but my mum started at 16 so dont worry for the moment, give it another couple of years before you should get concerned.

There is nothing wrong with you. You have already started to develop, so it seems like everything is working fine. I was 15 when I had my first one, and not regularily until I was 16. My younger sister started at age 11. Everyone is different. Be happy you don't have to deal with it for now. I'm 38 and I am looking in to ways (a hysterectomy) to stop it!

In a few years time, when you have been having periods for years and you have years and years in front of you, you will miss the time when you didn't have them!
Really don't worry. It could happen at any time. Just tell the girls at school you have started your periods if it bothers you that you are the only one. Probably some of them haven't really started yet.

Every woman's body changes at a different times. You need to be patient! it is nothing to rush into, belive me! You will wish you didn't have a period when you do have one. I did not get mine until I was 16. Everyone else was 13 and 14 and i just developed normally. It is normal to not have a period yet. You are sooo young and you should just be patient and let your developing occur when it is supposed to. There is nothing to speed it along and you don't need to try to do so either.

As many have told you ,do not worry !! The age a girl gets her first period varies a great deal. Your weight in relation to your height can make a difference and so many other factors. If you are otherwise healthy I would not worry, keep calm and do not try to grow up too fast, you've got years ahead of you !!
