It can be very difficult when someone we know passes away, even if we were not that close to them, especially when they are so very young. It brings a lot of emotions and thoughts to the forefront, and we begin to realize that we are mortal, and how fragile life is.
Talk to your friends, your parents, and your school counselor. Keep a journal about your feelings. It is best to get out the feelings and thoughts you have regarding your friend, and regarding life and death in general.
Grieving is a process, and it is not unnatural to grieve for and miss even someone you didn't like that much, because you suddenly realize they were a real person and there is a void now because of the loss. Every person is so important!

The best thing to do is not hold your feelings. Pray & talk to God about this, he'll understand. I remember my best friend that died, on Jan 5, 2002. He got killed by a drunk driver. He was just only 18 & had graduted from hs with me the past summer. It was hard for me. I mean really hard. Why? Because Dec 2nd, 2001, two days before my birthday my great grandmother died. Three days after my birthday, I broke my arm & had surgery for Christmas, than my best friend died. I almost died once in my sleep when I was younger.

I am sorry about your friend, thier is a guy by the name of James Van Praugh ( pronounced prog) who writes books on life after death that might help you to realize that your friend is in a way better place. The only other consolation I can offer you is the one thing I lived my life by and that is that Time heals all wounds. take care

Sweetie,
There's not much that you can do. Time will heal. You can try to stay busy so that you don't think about it, but you can't really do much to get rid of grief. Try talking to your parents or your other friends about her. Sometimes that helps.
I'm sorry about your loss.

Even tough she wasn't your best friend, you still considered her a friend. Remember any good times you had together, and always remember her in you're heart.

Crying is in this case a good thing. It helps to heal. Talk with your parents, tell them how you feel, and talk with your school councilor.

It's hard because she's your age and it makes you scared. It isn't right...but it will get better. I promise. Just hang in there.

Remember this babe, "As long as you got her in your mind and heart, she will always be there with you". So talk to her, I am sure she is in Heaven listening to you.
