Sorry to hear you are having a problem. I have upgraded to IE7 on two PC's and a Laptop all without a hitch. I believe this is the first Browser from Microsoft that you CAN unistall, in the Add Remove, area and you get your old Version back complete. ( I have not tried it but thats what the blurb said) John M has provided a good link to Microsoft that may resolve your issue with the scroll increments. Asn for the other answers, not really a help are they. I have used all menioned. Its a pesonal opinion. I do not like Netscape on bit, Firefox is excellent and I liked the Tabbed browser ( that IE7 had copied) but there were a few pages I couldn't load via Firefox ( on line flight sims) so I was using both. Now IE7 seem to be fine. Well, unless you get a conflict. Best of luck.

I've seen this issue in many forum threads and it appears to be one of two things. (1) It may be a conflict between your mouse software and IE7 in which case simply uninstall then reinstall your mouse software. (2) Update IE7 to the newest version. Also keep in mind that if this is only happening with IE then it is not an issue that relates to changing control panel settings.
PS: I would suggest changing over to Firefox, it's free, safer, has more features, and it won't have many issues like that.

Check your mouse options in the control panel, or check the Options menu in IE7.
Probably best to go with Firefox, since Internet Explorer isn't very good.

IE7 is very buggy, would not bother installing it. Roll back to IE6 or consider another browser. Info on roll back can be found here,
http://forums.techguy.org/web-email/459906-ie7-problems.html
Also use Bigfix to keep ahead of the bugs. http://www.bigfix.com/
Mouse might need updated driver. Try manufacturers website. Not a lot of support for IE7 at the moment. Hope this helps...

If you install IE7 it will replace IE6. If you want to uninstall IE7 at a later time, you should be able to remove it through the Add / Remove applet in the control panel. If you do install it and uninstall it later, the automatic updates will inevitably ask you if you want to install it again. In that case, just select the Don't install option. Important: If you do want to remove IE7 after installation, make sure you uninstall it correctly through the Add/Remove applet in the control panel or with another uninstall utility. Do not delete it manually as that will cause more problems. Note that installation of IE7 will not override your default browser. You then may have to manually add IE6. You can do this through the ADD/Remove applet

I've had a few problems with Internet Explorer 7 too.
Nothing major but annoying.

You only need to do a search on here to see how many people are having problems with IE7. The best thing to do is download Mozilla Firefox available from http://www.mozilla.com/ Its faster, more user friendly, easily customizable to suit your need and no problems.

Just uninstall IE7.
I've dealt with 5 seperate systems on which it has just installed itself and caused problems.
Although I do REALLY like the feature-set available in IE7, I don't think it is entirely stable yet and MS were premature in rolling it out into updates.
Try Firefox instead. It just works.
