I'm kind of fond of Longboat Key which is on the Gulf between sarasota & bradenton. just a really beautiful place to be. There are some really good [ expensive ] restaurants nearby located around St . Armands circle
For the more party hearty faction there is siesta key -still really pretty just less sedate.

Sanibel Island is extremely beautiful. Lot's and lot's of pretty shells on the Beach. It's on the West Coast near Bradenton, Fl. They have cottages there for rent. Very lovely.

Florida?! You've gotta be kidding me!!! Do it right. Go to either the Dutch or British Bahamas. Rent a boat. There's thousands of little lslets you can be alone. Florida? That place truuuulllyyy suuuuuuccks!

Vanamont does`nt know what he/she is talking about. It`s proven that florida has some of the most beautiful beaches on this side of the world. Clearwater is absolutely beautiful. I recommend it.
