My family has a home computer and I have a laptop. I bought a wirless router, so I could use the internet from the home computer to my laptop. I want to know how I can lock my wirless connection, so only the people with a password can access my wirless internet.

Go into the set up for your router and look for a place that says either WEP or WPA (they are the two different types of wireless password.) Should prompt you to enter a WEP/WPA password. Next time a computer tries to access the network it will have to enter a password to get it.

(Check the manual, it will have full details)

In the router settings there should be something related to wireless security in-regards to setting up WPA or WEP, etc...encryption.
