Easiest way is to install the operating system again, one of the options will be to erase the harddrive before installing.

Boot to the CD and off you go.

Don't do anything drastic. Use this software first to clean any virus off your hard drive first. http://www.microsoft.com/security/malwareremove/default.mspx. Now, after that, download and run this great software.. http://www.download.com/Advanced-WindowsCare-Personal/3000-2086-10407614.html?part=dl-AdvancedW&subj=uo&tag=button. Another great free program to set your pc right. Run a good antivirus at all times. This is a great free antivirus, one of the very best, download and run http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html. Run these programs. Erasing and formatting and installing a new operating system is pretty advanced and unless your experienced in doing it I would suggest you try out the programs I have sent to you. Good luck. Mikie.

I suggest that you try to carryout system restore to a day previous to the day when there was no virus or any problems. It may be a few weeks or months back. You have to decide the date. Detailed instructions are posted at http://fixit.in/systemrestore.html
The problem is likely to be solved. Then,You insatll a standard antivirus soft ware such as Norton, AVG , Avast ( free antivirus software and Ad-aware, Ewido ( free spyware removers). You can download free softwares at
http://fixit.in/antivirus.html and http://fixit.in/spywareremover.html

What I would suggest is since your computer is in this bad shape, take it to one of the places that work on computers. Take all your restore software disks with you. They will wipe everything off and restore it like it was brand new. Now realize you are going to lose everything that you have on your files and documents. This is probably the best thing to do.

If there isn't any files that you need I would recommend running the re-installation software that you got with the system. You would have to install all the software you had on it though. Good Luck.

use the boot cd and do a reinstall on your pc that is the best way or if you have alot of information you want you can try to do a repair on it by acting like you are going to reinstall but right before you get to the screen where it shows the partitions you can press the button to try and do a repair instead of a reinstall
