No silly, Clinton was the first.

I guess I'm a racist too, since I don't like his politics either.

I certainly hope not.

I don't like his politics and he seems far to eager to play the race card.

Personally, I would like to see Condoleezza Rice as the next president and I sincerely hope she chooses to run. Unlike Mr. Obama, I have never heard of her attempting to make an issue of her race (or her gender, for that matter). Further, unlike Mrs. Clinton, she seems to have consistent well reasoned viewpoints rather than simply taking whatever view she believes will get her the most votes at the time.

He will not be president in 08, vice presidential candidate w/ Hillary is as close as he'll get. He's too inexperienced at this point. And I don't know anything about the half and half thing.

Obama is not a viable contender for any public office. He only got elected to the Senate by accident.

Not that he would or would not do a good job, I don't think he will get elected for the very reason that he is black.

That just will not set well with the rural voters especially in the south.

He's only been a senator for two years. There is no way he will be elected in 08. maybe later in the future, though. I really don't think his race should matter.

Who cares about race?

There were rumors that Warren Harding was part black. Again, so what?
