all the gels ive tried leave white stuff on my head.what can can i use that doesnt become white after dryin ?

Any gel that is alcohol based is going to make your hair stiff and dry, whenever that gel dries or wears off, the end result is that white residue. Get a hair gel that is water based instead and once you have styled your hair the way you want it, keep you hands off, that will make your gel last throughout the day. If you need to fix your hair again, just use water and that will re-vamp the product that you already have in your hair!

Have you tried Body Shop's Hair Slick Gel? It's moisturising and it can be brushed out quite easily, in my experience. It didn't snow on my shoulders.

i hate using gel on my hair because the results become sticky or stiff ...instead, i use leave-on deep conditionaerr ...yeahh, sounds kinda weird, buht when u put it on, it looks so muchh better, and doesnt leeve white residue ! it`s by garnier fructice
