There are 2 pro leagues, the NWHL and the WWHL. All the NWHL teams are in Canada.

There is a WWHL team in Minnesota.

The WWHL has absorbed the NWHL, but it seems that Minnesota will be in the Western Division of the WWHL in the future.

yes the nwhl and wwhl. when i went to hockey camp over the summer i met some women who were in the olympics who won the gold medal..and also are in those leagues. Of course they arent as well known as nhl..but they might just have a chance at getting there. Girls hockey is the fastest growing sport right now..and im proud to say ive joined too :D

there probably are smaller ones but nothing compared to liek the nhl or something. but dont i wish there was a wnhl. i play hockey and i really wish there was a wnhl, so i am going to start one.

There isn't a really big one like the WNBA or anything like that. If there is one, is has so little publicity that it is almost non-existent.
