Which is the better, more reliable computer (desktop)?

I know someone who had to send back 3 gateways because they were not the right one and have an old hp that loads faster than our other computers.

Mac AirBook These are all the types out there in the market the ones you wanna look for are these in an laptop 1. 200GB or greater in an hard drive 2. At least 2GB of RAM 3. Tech Support 4. Long Battery life 5. Wireless connection compatibility 6. CD/DVD drive With these yo are sure to be able find something but in my request: 1.HP (Range of $799 or higher 2.DELL (range of $799 or higher 3.SONY (range of $899 or below 4. Mac AirBook (This one is about the range of over $900

Gateway is a bad joke in the computer industry. HP has been producing professional grade computers for decades. You can get the best price at www.stupidcheapcomputers.net

I don't have any experience with Gateways, but HP couldn't make a computer to save their lives. I've worked with multiple HP desktops and, with Intel and AMD architecture, and they were all crap. I'm not really sure about their notebooks, though.

HP by far! HP has an excellent recovery method! If you want to repair your system, HP has an option to set it back to the original factory settings as if you just pulled it out of the box! I build my own and usually dont encourage people to buy any particular system but most users would be wise to stick with HP for this reason alone!
