Everyone has their own outlook on Christmas, maybe you just don't have fond memories, or your just being real about how society has turned it into a money market instead of remembering what it is all about. Even though you are being somewhat negative, it may just be nice to hear someone wish you a Merry Christmas from their heart instead of just saying the words. So to you from the heart I wish you a very Merry Christmas and hope you find some way to pass on the spirit of Christmas, even if it is just donating a small gift to a child that doesn't have someone to give to them at Christmas, or stop by a nursing home or assisted living and visit someone who has no-one at Christmas. Making someone else's heart happy is always good for the soul.

i dont think you are a scrooge, i just feel sad for you. but if you like to overwork on christmas day, dont like talking to anybody and/or spend any time dealing with the overly hyped christmas commercial garbage, then do something that will fullfilled yourself like volunteer in your local church, and help others that are less fortune than you. there is a reward in that much more than $$$$$$

Do you have family? Do you have a family (IE: kids a wife?) I am thinking your don't. Not that it is a bad thing but when you have family mainly children Christmas becomes exciting again like when you were a kid. I know before I had my kids Christmas became mundane and boring. Like what was the point. Now with 3 small kids it is fun to see them excited about Santa and decorations, the whole holiday spirit is nice. I am sure one day you will feel happy about the holidays but for now just do what makes you feel better. There is nothing wrong with how you feel! :)

Mebbe yer just tired of it as I am this year. Seems hyped even since the day after Halloween, what with pictures of inside-lit cabins and the usual noises of Nutcracker. Very tiresome. Folks like us need to figure out some other way to get it back if it seems important. Perhaps it will prove to be so for me, as far as remembering back, from future years' perspective, remembering myself as a moping weenie.

People forget to enjoy the days in between they seem to only have Christmas to look forward too. I say Live, Love, Laugh that way every day is Peachy!

Not everyone loves Christmas, if you want to be miserable around the holidays then that's your choice and it doesn't make you a scrooge. But don't try making everyone around you miserable too, if you do then you're a scrooge.

well you might be alittle grumpy during the holidays but just because you dont like it is no reason to judge you. It not the law for everyone to enjoy christmas....
even though i really like christmas, i think your fine if you act like that.
