Great president . GOD knows what would have happen to us if gore was in the white house when 9/11 hit us. I know alot of people don't like him , but He has faced more in his two terms than most presidents . I have to stand up and say thanks for that !

What has George Bush really done? Hmmm rode on the tails of a nation that has overblown a terrorist attack. Then for the next 6 years hasn't done squat. He should be a lobbyist for defense contractors and oil pirates. So no he's not even in the category of great.

I agree, one of the greatest worst Presidents in my lifetime. His only legacy will be his influence in getting conservatives on the US Supreme Court via the confirmation process in the GOP-controlled Senate.

His legacy also includes starting the Iraq war based on a lie and one that we could not financially afford; abandoning the war in Afghanistan when the capture of OB-L was very close; refusing to raise taxes on the wealthy to pay for the war, but instead insisting on tax cuts (!); utter disregard and/or condemnation of any individual or organization opposing his Administration's viewpoints; near zero employment and economic growth; and ignoring the terrorist threat until we had a 9/11 on our hands.

BTW the moron who said that Bush was better than Al Gore--Gore would not have been on a six-week vacation when 9/11 was being planned and implemented. He would have acted on the threats being received worldwide instead of putting his head in the sand and would have LISTENED to (instead of ignored) George Tenet, the anti-terrorism czar. Why in God's name we weren't at full security alert in our nation's airports, at the time, is beyond me, given the hijacking threat ?

You can thank GWB, and his monolithic Cabinet, for 3000+ deaths on 9/11/01, not for the response to 9/11.

History will judge that; if he is successful in Iraq, he will be great. If Iraq is a failure, that will taint his presidency. I predict that he will be judged as less than great, because I don't see Iraq not turning into a fiasco. I hope I'm wrong.
