No. Moral sense and reason must always reign. If you remain true and correct, people eventually see that. If you rush off like a madman and blowup and do wrongful things, people will only see that. Someone good can always help you when you do the right thing.

However, if you believe that their so-called conventions of not being able to act like a free person are the rules you are talking about (their false, phony rules) those you can break and be happy when you do.

You may find yourself alone, and oftentimes abandoned, but your angel will start to be brighter to you and you'll know one day your righteousness will shine brighter than the sun.

As far as your job goes, and I know this for a fact, you might have to wait things out, make other arrangements, and flounder a bit, but God has a way of washing you up on the right shore, of the right beach, just in time to go to work again. Being pushed overboard is no treat. But finding trust in God is well worth the struggle.
