Water mixed with vinegar, with a dash of dish soap, works surprisingly well. Saw it the other night on Mythbusters.

Other ways you can try

Peroxide/baking soda bath
This is currently the most effective de-skunking bath. Lemon juice or white vinegar can be substituted for the peroxide, but they don’t work as well.

In the bathtub or a bucket, mix together:

1 gallon water
1 quart hydrogen peroxide ~3% solution
1 cup baking soda
1 good squirt of hand or dish soap
The mixture will fizz. Use a sponge and lather it into the skin taking care to avoid the ears and eyes. Let it sit for 10 minutes, rinse and repeat.

Orange bath
Blend 5-10 oranges in a blender, mix with a little soap and lather up with the resulting liquid. Let it sit for 10 minutes, rinse, then wash with regular shampoo.

Soda bath
Some people swear by bathing in soda. We’ve heard of people using sprite and coke but haven’t yet tested it ourselves. Work the soda in, rinse and then wash with regular shampoo. Repeat as needed and let us know how this one works.

I used to have an incredibly stupid Cocker Spaniel. She never learned to not chase skunks. The most effective thing I ever used was Massengil powder douche. I mixed it in water in a much higher ratio than you would use for the original purpose. It worked much better than tomato juice.

Lots and lots of tomato juice. It acts to neutralize the odor. Make sure that you just dispose of all the clothes and underwear that you were were wearing, get in the tub, and pour this all over your body. Also, there is a product below that you might want to try, but it sounds like you need immediate relief---go with the tomato juice!

The best thing I could suggest is Tomato juice! That is the only thing I've ever heard of that takes the smell away. Good luck!

They say you cant get it off no matter how hard you scrub, you have to let it wear off, that takes 2 weeks, just wear a lot of perfume and deodorant.
