Politicians make several hundred thousand dollars a year in 'gifts' from lobbyists alone. There are no strict rules about lobbyist dealings.

The U.S. would lose nothing. K Street (famous street in D.C. where there are quite a few lobbying firms) would lose a lot of jobs.

Politicians, after finishing their political careers, tend to become lobbyists as well.

So everyone wins, in my mind.

USA would loose nothing.

Lobbyist are there to represent big companies.

USA Government is a capitalist goverment ... not a socialist. So their people is in 2nd place after the international market.

Politicians who sell their vote. Lobyists are high paid vote buyers.
