I was thinking of using fungus med From the brand Jungle. I put some Cycle product in the tank 3 days ago...and i was wondering if i should put the Fungus med right in the tank or should i do a full water change or a partial water change and then treat it with the medicine...

I just want to know if its safe to add the medicine in the same water with the Cycle product...

Im quite aware of the fact that 100% water changes shouldnt be done...but since i have apprx 2 gallon tank...and since the fish is showing signs of fungus problems i did a full water change added some cycle product which thanks to the members for informing me...now i know is compeltely useless...after about 3 days i did 50 percent water change and added the Fungus Eliminator in the tank..My fish seems to be doing better... is much more active and hopefully he will reach full recovery soon.

Id like to thank everyon who answered my question. You guys are most helpful =)

Unfortunately Cycle is completely useless. I have no idea why they sell it! To cycle your tank you need to develop cultured of live bacteria. Cycle is the dead bacteria and is therefore a waste of money.
Did you use it to cycle your tank? If so, please know that it will not work. Try finding some Bio-Spira instead - that stuff is the live bacteria. Otherwise, just do frequent (2-3 times per week) water changes to get rid of the ammonia and nitrites that will build up while the bacterial colonies establish themselves over the next few weeks.

And yes, you may use medication normally. However for fungus, I prefer Maracyn-2. Jungle products are less effective, in my experience.

Never do a full water change. It will be very likely that your fish will die. Only do a 25% water change. Are you sure that your fish have fungus? Jungle brand products work very well. You put 1 tablet in for every 10 gallons. Do the 25% water change, then put in the other stuff.

You can add the medication in with the cycle. Most anti-fungal medications tell you to do a 25% water change when adding the med. and some want you to take the carbon filter out. Hopefully Jungle works for you, but I would have to agree with the other girl, next time go with Mardel products. I haven't had much luck with Jungle to help my fish.

Was this cycle product for balancing the ph and nitrates in the water?

My best suggestion is to read the label of both bottles to see if they can be used in combination. If not, wait another 4 days, do a 20% water change and treat your fish with the medication, too many chemicals in the water at once can be deadly to your fish.
